Tanja Dahlström has been appointed as the new CFO for the Metalock Engineering Group since October 2017. Tanja sees great opportunities for strategic and operational cooperation between the ten companies and across national borders.

The Metalock Engineering Group today consists of ten companies and together they have an annual turnover of approximately 600 million SEK and 500 employees. As Finance Director for Sweden and CFO for the Metalock Engineering Group, Tanja Dahlström is responsible for all finances.

Tanja sees her new role as both exciting and challenging; "Metalock Engineering Group is in an exciting phase where we are building a common structure with common processes and goals. There is much we can develop and many areas where we can cooperate more between companies and across national borders".

Want to grow internationally

Although being located in Gothenburg, Tanja Dahlström is not only responsible for Metalock Sweden, but works for the whole Metalock Engineering Group and plans to travel around to each group's companies.

"I will allocate my time between the different companies as much as time allows, added the fact that Metalock Engineering is an international group with the ambition to grow all over the world is one of the main reasons I took on this role".

Raised at The Åland Islands

Tanja Dahlström was born in Helsinki, but grew up on Åland Island. Tanja came to Gothenburg in 1993 to study at the School of Economics, Tanja has a solid experience in business administration, management and marketing. Previously employed as Finance Manager at Getrag Ford Transmissions in Gothenburg where Tanja worked for twelve years. During her career Tanja also worked as a Business Controller at Duni, GlaxoSmithKline and Ericsson.
