Reboring of Threaded Bolts and Threads

Stud bolts could not be removed or re-turned by the user. The stud bolts had to be rebored without damaging the original thread.

At the booster pumps in a nuclear power plant, 48 M36 threads were rebored to M39x1.5 sizes for construction-related reasons.

Stud bolts that were not removed were separated and bored out to 1mm below the original core diameter. The remaining casings were re-turned.

At a main pump in the nuclear power plant, 32 M42x1.5 threads were rebored to M45x1.5 sizes for construction-related purposes.
