The contact faces of the bridge bearings had deformed due to previous welding work.
The goal was to flatly mill the 36 contact faces on a total of 18 segments.
Because of the components’ size (approximately 35 m long and 15 m wide) and the location of the faces to be machined, processing on a stationary machine was not possible.
The milling work was implemented with a mobile milling machine at our customer’s workshop and directly on location.
